Bathroom Organization Tools That’ll Instantly Upgrade Your Space
Hello everyone. I hope you guys are doing well. 🧡 Organizing your space is a must—because that’s what truly makes you feel at home.
I’m currently living in a rented place. And for the last 7–8 years, I’ve been away from home—moving from city to city, shifting apartments more times than I can count. It’s been a journey. With a regular 9–5 job, I honestly don’t get much time to focus on organizing or decorating properly. I mean… my space is organized, but not in the way I’d really love it to be.
Things are where they’re supposed to be—but I still feel like I could do better. You know what I mean, right? So in the coming months, I’ve planned a short break of 2–3 days to give my space a fresh start—starting with the bathroom.
If you’re someone who loves organizing or just wants to upgrade your space without big changes, then you’re at the right place. In this blog, I’ll be sharing some things I’ve recently ordered (mostly from Amazon) that many people don’t even know they can use to make their home more organized and functional.
I’ve been planning to reorganize my space for a long time, so I slowly started ordering things from Amazon and a few other websites. A quick heads-up though: all the items I’ll mention are affiliate links. That means if you purchase anything using those links, I’ll earn a small commission—at no extra cost to you. It’s a small way to support my blog if you find it helpful. 😊
Most of the items I’ve ordered are for my bathroom, because it’s the easiest space to start with. If you all like this post, I’ll definitely share what I used for my room and kitchen too!
So let’s dive in and see what I’ve ordered, why I picked them, and how they can make your space more neat, stylish, and renter-friendly. 💫
1. Self-Adhesive Wall Hook Clips for Curtains (No Drilling Needed!)
So, my bathroom has a window. It’s covered, yes—but I didn’t really like how it looked. I wanted to make it a little more elegant, so I thought, why not hang some curtains there?
Since the window is away from the shower, I didn’t have to worry about the curtains getting soaked. But there was one issue… the walls are tiled, and I obviously can’t drill into them (renter problems!). So I needed a solution that wouldn’t ruin the walls.
If you also have tiled walls and don’t want to drill, this product might be just what you need. I found these self-adhesive wall ring hook holder clips on Amazon, and even though the rating was just 3.9, I decided to give them a shot.
I’ll be honest, I was a little nervous—some people mentioned getting broken pieces. But mine arrived safely, and they worked perfectly! The curtain rod I used fit just right, and the hooks have held up really well so far.
✨ One small tip: Before sticking the hooks, make sure you clean the surface properly. I used an alcohol swab to wipe down the tiles where I was going to place them. If you don’t clean the surface first, they might not stick properly—and that could be why some people had issues.
Also, give it a few hours after sticking before you hang anything. Let the adhesive bond nicely. It makes a big difference!
So if you’re in the same boat—living in a rented space, avoiding drilling, and looking to hang curtains or lightweight items—these are totally worth trying. 💡
2. Waterproof Gap Filler Caulk Strip (For Sinks, Corners & Cracks)
In my bathroom, there are a lot of tiny gaps—especially near the floor and around the sink area—where water can leak out or (ew) insects can sneak in. I knew I had to seal those spots before they turned into a bigger problem.
There are many products you can use for sealing cracks and gaps, but I went with a budget-friendly one that still had really good reviews. It’s actually an Amazon bestseller, which made me feel a little more confident in giving it a try.
This self-adhesive waterproof caulk strip is perfect for sealing edges around your bathroom, kitchen, or even windows. I’m also planning to use it around the kitchen sink where there are some gaps between the counter and the sink that collect water and dirt. 🙄
Another reason I ordered it is because the shelves in my washroom have this uneven lining that’s really been bothering me. So I’m planning to remove the old cover and use this caulk strip to clean it up and give it a fresh, neater look.
If you’ve got any corners, joints, or surfaces that need sealing but don’t want to use messy silicone, this peel-and-stick version is a great alternative—easy to apply and renter-friendly. ✅
3. Wall-Mounted Toothbrush & Toothpaste Holder with Cups
For the longest time, I was just using a cup to store my toothbrush and toothpaste. Not the worst thing ever—but definitely not the most hygienic either. 😅 It started to bother me, especially when I realized how often water collects in the cup.
So I finally decided to get a proper solution—a wall-mounted toothbrush and toothpaste holder. The one I picked comes with two magnetic cups, which is such a bonus! It’s compact, clean, and keeps everything off the counter, which I absolutely love.
It was also super affordable and had great reviews, so I thought, why not? I’ve already installed it, and it’s made a huge difference in how tidy my sink area looks. Plus, it’s wall-mounted, so no clutter—just clean and functional space. 🙌
If you’re still using an old mug or tray for your toothbrushes, this might be the small upgrade that makes a big difference in your bathroom routine.
4. Adjustable Towel Rod & Towel Rack (Rust-Free Upgrade!)
One thing I noticed as soon as I moved into this place—almost all the metal items were rusted. From the towel hanger to the corners of small fixtures… it wasn’t a cute look. 😬
I decided to start fresh and ordered a new adjustable towel rod. What I loved most is that I could adjust the length to match the existing screw holes on the wall—no extra drilling needed, which is perfect for renters.
Along with that, I also ordered a new wall-mounted towel rack. Now everything looks so much cleaner and less rusty. These small swaps really do make a big difference!
5. Small White Storage Buckets (For Shelf & Product Organization)
My bathroom doesn’t have a cabinet, so all my things used to just sit on the open shelves—completely cluttered and mixed up. It made it really hard to find what I needed quickly, especially during busy mornings.
So I bought a few of these small white storage buckets. They’re simple, but super handy. I plan to separate my items like this: one for hair products, one for oral care, another for skincare, one for body care, and maybe one for hair accessories.
This way, everything has its own space, and the bathroom looks way more put-together. If you don’t have a cabinet either, this is such an easy and affordable way to stay organized. 🧼
6. Adhesive Wall-Mounted Flip Storage Box (Multi-Purpose Organizer)
Okay, I’m actually in love with this next one. I ordered these adhesive wall-mounted flip storage boxes—and I’m using them in both my bathroom and bedroom.
I’ve placed two in the bathroom to hold small things like cotton pads, swabs, hair ties, and other tiny essentials. The other two are on the wall near my study table to store pins, clips, and small stationery stuff. They’re super functional and surprisingly spacious!
You can stick them using double-sided tape or even better—use the magnetic peel sheets I mentioned earlier in this blog. Just stick one magnetic sheet to the wall and one on the box, and voilà—removable storage without damaging the walls. 🧲
7. Grout Pen (For Refreshing Tile Gaps)
If you’ve lived in rented places long enough, you already know about that weird-looking gap between tiles. It’s usually sealed with silicone caulk, but over time, it starts to look dirty or yellow.
In my current house, the bathrooms, kitchen, and even some corners in the bedroom had those dull, stained tile gaps. So I ordered this Grout Pen (White) to fix it up.
It’s a simple chalk marker designed to whiten the tile lines. Just a heads-up: you’ll need to go over the area a couple of times to really see the results. It doesn’t fill any gaps though—so if your grout is falling out or there are deeper cracks, you’ll need something stronger.
But if you’re just looking to refresh the look of your bathroom or kitchen without any major work, this pen does a pretty decent job. ✨
8. Soft-Close Cabinet Bumpers (Say Goodbye to Noisy Closures!)
This one’s a total game-changer—soft-close cabinet bumpers. I can’t recommend them enough!
I first discovered these last year in my previous rented apartment. If you're someone who hates the loud sound of cabinets slamming shut (especially when you're trying to sleep), this product is a must-have. I'm a light sleeper, and those random midnight cabinet noises? Not fun at all. 😩
So I stuck these bumpers on every cabinet door—and it worked like magic. Now I’m planning to do the same in my current space. I also have a shelf container that doesn’t stay in place and keeps making noise when things shift. These bumpers will help with that too!
Bonus use: I want to place a small shelf on top of my flush tank, but it’s super slippery. These bumpers will act as a grip and stop it from sliding around. You’ll honestly find these helpful in so many unexpected places.
9. Diatomite Water-Absorbing Coasters (No More Soggy Soap!)
Next up are these water-absorbent diatomite coasters—and wow, they’re such a smart little upgrade for any bathroom.
I use them to keep my foam cleanser and soap bar on. What’s cool about diatomite is that it quickly absorbs moisture—unlike regular soap holders that collect water and leave your soap all mushy and messy.
The surface stays dry, your soap lasts longer, and the area just looks so much cleaner. ✨
Just a heads-up though—these coasters can be a little slippery. But here’s a tip: place soft-close bumpers (the same ones mentioned above) on each corner. That way, they won’t move or make any noise when you place things on them. Genius, right?
10. Adhesive Bathroom Rack (Utilize the Space Behind the Toilet!)
There’s always that one awkward, unused space behind the toilet. And in my case, I really needed a place to store some of my bathroom cleaning products that I reach for often.
So I ordered this self-adhesive bathroom rack and attached it right in that empty space. It’s super easy to install and perfect for keeping cleaning supplies within reach—but also tucked away where they’re not too visible.
If you’re working with a small bathroom like I am, this is a clever and renter-friendly way to create extra storage without any drilling. 🙌
Wrapping It Up ✨
And that’s a wrap on my little bathroom upgrade journey! 🛁 I know these weren’t big renovation changes, but honestly, even the smallest tweaks can make your space feel fresh, functional, and a little more like *you*.
If you're also living in a rented space or just want easy, no-drill ideas to organize your bathroom, I hope these product picks helped. Everything I’ve mentioned here was carefully chosen to solve real-life renter problems—without damaging walls or spending a fortune.
Most of these were Amazon finds with decent reviews, and I’ve personally used or tested each one. Just a reminder: some links in this blog are affiliate links. That means I might earn a small commission if you decide to buy anything—at no extra cost to you. It’s a tiny way to support my blog and help me keep sharing helpful content like this. 💛
If you try out any of these products, I’d love to hear about it! Drop a comment, message me, or tag me if you share your space online. And if you'd like a similar post for kitchen or room organization—let me know. I’d be more than happy to share what worked for me!
Thanks so much for reading. Until next time, stay cozy and keep making your space your own! 💫
